This year, Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful is hosting a sticker contest about "Clean Creeks, Healthy Communities". Artists of all ages are invited to submit original art to have a design selected to be printed and handed out at Coastal Cleanup Day on 9/21/24 at our cleanup at Roosevelt Park in San Jose.
One winner and one runner up will be chosen. Both will be featured in a blog, on social media and receive KCCB swag. The winner will have their design printed as a limited edition sticker.

Design
Design should be original and incorporate the theme of "Clean Creeks, Healthy Communities" with the text "Coastal Cleanup Day 24/2024" in it. The size is 2.5" x 2.5"

Email the design photographed in high-resolution to info@keepcoyotecreekbeautiful.org.
Email subject should read: "KCCB Sticker Contest - YOUR NAME"
In the email body, please include:
Your First and Last Name

Residential zip code
Attach the image of the artwork as a file
Winner and runner up will be notified on Fri 8/30/24. We will write a blog to feature their work on our social media.
Rules and Guidelines
The contest is open to participants regardless of age, residence or citizenship. Limit of one art entry per contestant.
The deadline for submitted entries is Sun 8/25/24 at 5:00 pm PDT. Winners will be notified on Fri 8/30/24.
A panel of KCCB staff and key volunteers will choose the winners. Artwork will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact, and artistic merit.
Entries must be created around the theme "Clean Creeks, Healthy Communities" with the text "Coastal Cleanup Day 24/2024".
Entries must be the original work of the contestant. By entering, contestants warrant that the artwork submitted does not violate the rights of any third parties.
Original artwork should be legible in a 2.5" x 2.5" size sticker.
Acceptable art media are paint, pencil, markers, ink, crayon, chalk or pastel, collage, and digital art. Three-dimensional pieces, photography, or art that uses glitter are not eligible.
Entries by immediate family members of KCCB staff are not eligible.
Entries may not be inappropriate or offensive, as determined by KCCB. KCCB reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry they deem to be offensive or inappropriate.
By submitting an entry, contestants grant KCCB a nonexclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to reproduce, distribute, publicly display, and publicly use the artwork and their name in digital and printed publications and promotions.
