Board Member Overview
Bring your skills and experience, and have fun connecting with people and nature while giving back to your community by joining us on the board of Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful! Our board and committee members work together as a team to keep KCCB a lively, local, and genuinely grassroots organization, while also helping to manage a growing budget and dynamic cadre of enthusiastic employees.
Our board members advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, and assist with the leadership and general promotion of Keep Coyote Creek Beautiful so as to support the organization’s mission and needs.
The Development Committee supports the organization’s mission, goals, and programs through creation of an effective development plan and facilitation of philanthropic relationships, and other fundraising tasks as they become relevant to the goals of the organization.
The Finance Committee aims to create and maintain a stable fiscal foundation for the organization and serves to provide financial oversight and recommendations to the board of directors with the primary objective of achieving financial stability over 3-5 years. Part of its duties include managing immediate budgetary issues, ensuring that the organization is in legal compliance with accounting principles, and employee relations.
The Governance Committee supports the organization’s mission, goals, and programs through oversight of the implementation of the strategic plan, annual review of the Executive Director, and other tasks related to governing the organization.
